The Southwest

For this project, I talked a lot about horizon lines and how objects get smaller and move up on our page as they get further away from us (foreground, middle ground, background). I also talked about adobes and the materials that they are made from. We then named off things that we might see in a desert-like environment. Lastly, we talked about warm colors. We first drew and then traced our drawing with a black cray-pas. Then we painted using tempera cakes.
